Action Oldham Fund
Apply for a Grant to change local lives for the better
The Action Oldham Fund 2015 will offer grants of up to £10,000 to Voluntary Action Oldham members who are:
- Helping to develop the skills and knowledge of Oldham residents to improve their quality of life and their ability to contribute to their community
- Promoting wellbeing amongst Oldham Borough residents (projects that improve physical or mental health and wellbeing of local people, for example: starting an exercise or walking group, reading groups, workshops on health awareness projects)
- Promoting the ability of communities to manage change and to help themselves (projects that help communities and groups become more sustainable, for example fitting of new flooring enabling a room to be rented out or a feasibility study/business planning to develop a community asset)
Funding for the Seedcorn and Project Fund for this year has closed.
Grants of £250 are available in January 2016. This grant is for constituted groups who are members of VAO and have an annual income of under £7500.
