Helping you to build vibrant local communities

Action Oldham Fund

We change local lives for the better by supporting the work of community groups on your doorstep

The Action Oldham Fund is a charitable fund that supports good causes across borough with grants, so they can make a real difference to local lives.

Currently £8 in every £10 we give to charity in the borough goes overseas or to national charities. We encourage more local giving so the smaller volunteer- led organisations like our older people's luncheon clubs, self- help groups, support groups for children and young people  can transform the lives of people right on our doorstep. You can be sure your money makes a real difference to the lives of Oldham residents. Here is an examples of a recent projects we've funded:

Chadderton Park Cerebral Palsy Project.  The only project in the North West to give Young people with cerebral palsy the opportunity to play and enjoy football.

Keeping Our Girls Safe (KOGS) This project works with young people to educate, inform and raise awareness of unhealthy relationships, child sexual exploitation and grooming. The aim is to empower young people to make positive life choices and choose healthy relationships.

Make a one off donation or start a regular donation today and you can help good causes across Oldham make a difference to peoples' lives
