Call to Action Movement of Movements
We would like to invite you to our ‘Call to Action’ event as part of your contribution to building social movements for health in Greater Manchester.
We have invited you because of your involvement with Catalyst funding from Action Together, with #LiveWellMakeArt or #100Moments, your interest in Food movements, or your personal interest in supporting social movements in health, especially to address social isolation and loneliness.
The event is free, held in a fantastic venue, and we will be providing lunch. We may also be able to provide transport to the venue, just get in touch with us!
Date: 21st March 2017 9.30 -4.00pm
Venue: Peoples History Museum, Left Bank, Spinningfields, Manchester M3 3ER
This event brings together the people interested in having more socially connected and healthy lives, achieved though social movement building activity. Some people from the wider health and social care sector will be joining us but the excitement, energy and richness of the day will come from you! Creative workshops, talks, performances and films will showcase your involvement in social movement. There will be opportunities to network and contribute to mini movements or moments through the day. There will also be some time set aside for evaluation of your activities to date. We will be helped in this by colleagues from the New Economics Foundation.
The event will be held at the People's History Museum in Manchester which is an inspirational venue holding and displaying some fascinating material and information on past and current social movements.
We are planning an exciting and creative day for everyone and will send you a more detailed programme shortly. If you would like to contribute of showcase your work on the day please get in touch with Kerry.
