Help with Funding
Welcome to the funding section of Voluntary Action Oldham’s website. Whether you’re brand new to fundraising or an experienced fundraiser for many years, there is something here for everyone.
VAO's Development Team provides free information, support and advice to groups across the borough of Oldham on finding funds, writing successful funding applications and developing new ideas for making money and securing other resources.
So far this year, Voluntary Action Oldham has awarded over £32,600 to community groups across the Oldham Borough. Funding from Action Oldham Seedcorn Fund and Make that Difference has helped projects to
· Develop Oldham residents’ skills and knowledge
· Improve physical or mental health and wellbeing of local people
· Reduce isolation and encourage people suffering from loneliness to connect and meet up with other members of the community
· Get people more active, more often and
· Become more sustainable.
