Oldham LGBT Forum organises events such as Oldham Pride and events to mark IDAHO, the Forum has worked with partners, including Oldham Council, NHS Oldham and Oldham Police Division to raise LGBT issues in Oldham. Membership of Oldham LGBT Forum is open to LGBT people living and/or working in Oldham and to representatives of LGBT organisations. Representatives of other groups and organisations working to support LGBT people and communities may be co-opted onto the forum. The Forum meets every four to six weeks. If you want to find out more, would like to become a member of Oldham LGBT Forum or would like to be consulted about LGBT experiences and needs in Oldham please email: oldhamlgbtforum@oldham.gov.uk.
Out in Oldham
Out and About is a youth group for young (13 to 21 year old) LGBTQ people. The group meets once a month on the first Sunday of the month from 1pm-4pm. Please contact 0161 770 8648 for more information.
Out and About
Oldham Age Concern’s LGBT ‘Out and About’ group is a friendship group for our older lesbian, gay, transgender and bisexual community in Oldham. The group provides an informal, friendly environment where people find it easy to meet and chat together. For more information call 0161 633 0213.
